Come check out this fun way to make new friends in NYC. Join us for a unique social event! Make new social connections, win raffle prizes and expand your social circle.
Our friendly host will welcome everyone and then you'll be grouped off into separate tables where you'll get to meet, chat with and play fun social games with other people in small groups of about 4 or 5 people. You'll rotate from table to table getting a chance to meet all the other people in attendance.

WHAT GAMES WILL WE BE PLAYING?
They are simple but extremely fun games that don't require much skill... they are mostly fun games of luck and chance to get the crowd mingling and having a good time. The fun games are set up to break the ice, help you gauge compatibility and make quality connections. Some of the games are similar to the most popular party games, others are like casino games that involve rolling dice and some are a little bit different but we assure you... they are really, really fun and you don't need to know how to play anything in particular (ie. we won't be playing blackjack or poker or anything like that). An example game we sometimes like to play is "Friendly Feud" which is similar to the popular prime time TV show we all know. In this game you and your dates will be asked fun relationship style questions like, "Name Something Associated with Vampires ". You will work together with a small group of singles to come up with what you think is the most popular answer and then you'll find out if you got the top answer. Another game we play is "Would You Rather" where we ask you fun questions like "Would you rather live the rest of your life without ever being able to watch and movie/TV show or would you rather never be able to listen to any song/music again?". You answer the question and then you have to try and pick the most popular answer.

FAQ:
How many people will be participating? It varies from event to event... We usually have between 15 and 30 or so people in attendance.
Can I come alone? Yes about 85% of those attending will be coming solo. But you can also invite friends to join you. Everyone must have a ticket to enter.
Is there a dress code? No specific dress code. We just suggest "neat casual"

Cost: $30 general members.
You don’t need any special skills for our Mystery and History Hunt! This activity is designed for making friends, learning a little history and finding out things about Grand Central that you never knew before.
How it works:
-Registration is at 7pm, we will put you on teams if you don’t already have one. 99% of those attending will not have a team. Please don’t be late.
-Each team will be given a list of clues and 75 minutes to head inside Grand Central to try and solve the mystery.
-The team with the most points wins!
-Once everyone is back, we’ll socialize, eat and drink at one of the food places where you can share your experiences with the others while we tally up the scores!
The Story:
Meet Up Mary is a regular on the social circuit in New York. You’d probably know her if you’ve been out before. She is very personable, friendly and bubbly! Unfortunately, Mary met a horrific end at Grand Central and the police need your help to solve her case! Join us for this fun and educational night where you will get to explore every corner of this NYC landmark in ways you never have before! If you have participated in our other Grand Central hunts, no worries as this is a completely different experience. You will learn, discover, uncover and socialize with other fun members of our group before, during and after the hunt! No experience is necessary!

Recommended ages: 21+. The main demographic will be 30s and 40s but there will be many 20s and even 50s so those folks will feel right at home.
Can I come alone? Yes, most guests do! It’s a great way to meet new people.

This event is nonrefundable unless canceled. If you have tested positive for Covid or are sick with any ailment that prohibits you from attending, we will do our best to provide you with credits for select future events with a copy of your positive test results or doctor’s note. Credits may or may not equal the cost of the event missed and may only be applied to events selected by NYSN.

At this event you will be going on a series of about 10 to 15 mini dates with each date lasting about 5 minutes each. Women stay seated and the men rotate from table to table until they meet each woman.

You will get a match card and at the end of each mini-date you'll indicate whether or not you'd like to see the person again. At the end of the evening you will hand your match card in to the event host. If you both select each other, we will send you each others' email address the next day so you can set up a future date! Within 24 hrs, you'll receive an email with the first name and email of your mutual matches. We do not give out names or contact info unless there is a mutual match.

Our Speed Dating events tend to attract quality, single professionals who are done with the dating games and ready to meet that special someone. Most people know within a few minutes if they would like to see someone again.

If you need to cancel, please email us and we can transfer you to a future event. However we do not offer transfers if you cancel on the day of the event or don't show up.
